The Olive A-Frame is a newly renovated cabin in Payson, Arizona! Just 90 minutes from Phoenix, you and your family can escape to this A-Frame getaway! The cabin is close to hiking, fishing, restaurants, shops and more. At the cabin enjoy drinking coffee on the deck, playing games, cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, or have a bonfire in one of the two fire pits. We can't wait for you to come make memories here!
The space
When you arrive to The Olive A-Frame you can park in our driveway that comfortably fits three cars. The front deck has adirondack chairs where we love to drink coffee and watch the horses across the street or drink wine and watch the sunset. There is also a fire pit out front. The main entrance has an electric keypad for an easy self check-in process.
When you enter the cabin you will be in the dining room. This space is perfect for gathering with your family + friends to enjoy a meal or play games. If you need more seating there is a bench that can be brought over to fit 6 around the table. There is also a closet with a washer and dryer you will have access to as well.
From the dining room is the kitchen which is fully stocked with pots, pans, a Keurig, toaster, spices, oven and microwave. Our kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The kitchen opens up into the living room where you will find a comfortable couch, chairs, a fireplace, and a smart TV. Youtube TV will be logged in for you to use and you may log into your other accounts. In the TV console are toys for kids, games and puzzles. The living room also has a slider we love to open to let in fresh air and lots of natural light!
There are two bedrooms downstairs both with queen beds. The cabin has one bathroom located downstairs with a tub and shower, plenty of towels, and Public Good products for you to use during your stay.
The spiral staircase takes you up into the loft. Up in the loft is another queen bed and a balcony.
Out in the backyard you can find a grill, a picnic table, and another fire pit. The backyard is completely fenced in.
Other things to note
**No Photo or video shoots without prior approval
The cabin is located in a neighborhood and we have neighbors that live close on all sides. There are horses and goats across the street. We greatly appreciate our neighbors and ask that you be respectful of them and be aware of noise levels at night.
Children are welcomed to the cabin, but the cabin may not be suitable for young children because of the indoor fireplace and spiral staircase - parents should use their own discretion when booking.
We have the best WIFI we are able to get for our area, but streaming multiple devices can make the WIFI spotty and slow.
The upstairs loft is open and semi-private. The loft is warmer than the rest of the house, even with the new insulation recently installed. There is a floor fan in the loft with multiple settings we recommend using.
We do not provide firewood and recommend you get some from a gas station or the general store down the street, but sometimes previous guests will leave some behind!
There is no street parking November 1st - April 1st. There may be fire restrictions throughout the year due to certain weather conditions.
** During winter months if there is heavy snow a 4wheel drive vehicle would be highly recommended to get to the A-frame.
