You have your own separate space with separate entrance in a quiet residential neighborhood, 5 minutes from airport and downtown Reno. Less than one hour from Tahoe and skiing. Full large basement apartment is over 700 sq. ft. and has a separate, private entrance (with stairs) and its own backyard. Owners live upstairs. Eclectic decor - antique bedroom set, Mexican themed common spaces.
This is NOT a party house. If there is anything resembling an out of control party you will be asked to leave immediately.
The space
This is a spacious studio apartment. It occupies the entire basement of a 2 bedroom house (above), so it is quite large. The queen bedroom area is off by itself a bit and has a curtain for some privacy. The single bed has a partial room divider also. For those who need a desk space there is a very large desk, with lamp, electrical outlets and printer.
Guest access
You have access to the entire basement apartment through a private entrance on back of house, and private backyard area, entered by a separate gate to street parking.
Other things to note
A portacrib and and an air mattress are available. There are some board games and a collection of books and magazines as well as some toddler toys. Kitchen is ready for cooking and cabinets contain spices, oils, cookware, servingware and some basic foods just in case. A washer and dryer are in the apartment for you to use as well as an iron and ironing board.
