Roaming Deer Cabin is located in the historic Upper Canyon. It is within walking distance of the Ruidoso River but also just a short drive from downtown Ruidoso and all the area has to offer.
The side entrance under the covered carport has no steps making it easily accessible for unloading your belongings. There is a spacious deck on the front where you can relax and watch for the deer that gave the cabin its name. The enclosed backyard has multiple seating areas, a gas grill to prepare burgers or steaks for everyone to enjoy, as well as a private hot tub and sauna.
The cabin has a cozy rustic feel but also modern conveniences to enhance your stay. The kitchen has modern appliances and all the tools to make delicious meals and a dishwasher to make cleanup easy. The living room has a gas fireplace and a smart TV and DVD player as well as a cabinet full of games and puzzles for the whole family to enjoy. There is also a reading nook where you can curl up with a good book.
There are two master suites with king beds, full baths, and smart TVs. The sun porch has two daybeds for children or guests and there is a half bath in the hall. The sunporch also is equipped with a washer and dryer.

An administration fee of $35 will be charged to all cancellations 14 days or more in advance, unless a reschedule has been agreed upon. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to check-in will be charged a 1 night fee including taxes and are subject to all other nights the Cabin or Room is not re-rented. If you do not show up for your reservation you will be charged in full. Sorry, no refund for early departure.
