The space
This one-bedroom, one-bathroom that sits on the 10 acre Sage Ranch located in Upper Ojai. The space is beautifully decorated and perfect for a relaxing getaway. You have all of the amenities needed to unwind and escape the bustling city lights and sounds.
Separated from the Ojai Sage Ranch Main Villa and Ojai Sage Ranch Studio by sprawling outdoor living areas, this quaint home is perfection with 360 views of mountain/valley scapes from east to west and north to south.
Peppercorn and old oak trees dot the surroundings and wildlife is abundant in the area.
Your stay is made even more relaxing while you unwind and enjoy an Ojai “pink moment,” as the sunset bounces off the famous Topa Topa mountains just outside of your door. All while sipping on a glass wine from your complimentary bottle of local Ojai valley organic wine from the Naturalist winery.
Guest access
Your space sits on a 10 acre ranch that is teaming with wildlife and has a horse facility. There are three total VRBO homes on the property. The horses are privately owned and are off-limits unless arrangements have been made prior to your stay. Please reach out if you would like to view the horses and we may be able to accommodate you but no promises. The rest of the ranch is open for you to roam freely.

** MOUNTAIN REMINDER**
1) We encourage all guests to view all wildlife from a distance for your safety and theirs.
2) we prefer you don’t wear shoes in the home to help keep the floors from dirt and debris for you and future guests.
3) You are well outside of the bright lights of the cities below. With that, the grounds are very dark at night and you are on a large 10 acre ranch. Please understand that it gets dark here at night.
4) We have the grounds around the homes treated for bugs regularly. Please understand that they are still out there and living within the natural surroundings. Sometimes we get unavoidable visitors from the surrounding pastures and nature corridor so please bear with us and understand that we do our absolute best to make sure you have a comfortable, clean and enjoyable stay. There are no crawling insects that can harm you, we promise!
5) As noted prior, please understand that it is dark at night, especially when you leave the town of Ojai. You will be required to drive on fully maintained state Highways that are windy in some areas as well as a fully maintained and paved private road. Please drive with caution.
6) if you plan on arriving later in the evening we recommend stopping at a local convenient or grocery store on the way up. Most of the local restaurants close by 8-9pm and deliveries may be tricky and we cannot guarantee that delivery services will come up late in the evenings. Please plan ahead if you tend to get peckish at night.
7) The ranch does have a couple of active oil wells on the property. These wells are along the road and managed by a third party company. We have no control of these pumps and the may be visible during the day time.
If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP.

Our Villa is kept IMMACULATELY CLEAN. It’s our top priority that we take to the next level!
We have 5-star cleaning team, however as with all country living there are different bloom seasons for insects, animals, and reptiles throughout Ojai and Santa Paula.
We have a routine professional services that caters to the local current activities , we don’t refund monies like any other hotel policy for at random bugs. We say this with the hopes that you book with us because you won’t find a better rental in Ojai with such sweeping views and spacious room!
