This lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom log cabin, is family friendly, pet friendly and features a wood-burning fireplace, a multipurpose game table, high-speed Starlink Internet, and spacious elevated decks, surrounded by gorgeous pine forest views. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the Valley of the Sun neighborhood, enjoy mountain top vistas, and roaming wildlife right from the comfort of the home or take a beautiful drive to the town of Breckenridge, just 24 miles away!
The home features open concept living spaces with classic mountain cabin decor. Enjoy floor to ceiling windows in the great room, with comfortable leather furniture centered around a wood-burning fireplace and mantle-mounted television with a variety of streaming options through FireTV available. The dining table offers comfortable seating for 6, with additional high top seating for 4 at the kitchen bar. The kitchen offers standard appliances, granite tile countertops, and cabinets fully stocked with all the dishes and cooking gadgets you may need to whip up your favorite meal. Up the steps to the open loft, enjoy a versatile, multipurpose game table where you can challenge a travel companion to a game of billiards or table tennis, or curl up in the cozy lounge chair for an afternoon with a favorite book.
The loft features a "jack-and-Jill" style bathroom, accessible from both the game area and Maser suite, with a pedestal sink, standard toilet, and a bathtub/shower combo where you can choose to start your day with a quick refreshing rinse, or sink in for a long hot soak after a big day of adventuring in the central Rocky Mountains. The master suite has large windows, a king size bed, a closet, dresser and small television with DVD player (no streaming available on this TV.)
There are 2 ground floor bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, and one with a full-size bed; each offering a closet, a dresser, and a large window. Between the bedrooms is the central bathroom with a standard vanity, toilet, and step in shower.
Step out of the great room door onto the bright and spacious elevated deck and enjoy woodland views while you grill out on the propane barbecue grill, enjoy lunch at the picnic table, or lounge on the comfortable patio furniture.
The Valley of the Sun neighborhood is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe Elk, Deer and Foxes (just to name a few of the critters!) right on the property. Additionally, you may be able to see Moose in their natural habitat at the nearby wetland area located less than 2 miles down the valley from the cabin. The driveway is plowed in the winter and the roadways are maintained by the county, but 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED from November through May due to the frequent snow storms in this area.
Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's a great "Base Camp!" If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.

* Guests will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement after booking.
* This home is pet friendly. We charge a $50 pet fee for each pet, and all pets must be approved. This fee is not included in the quoted rate, and will be charged after the booking is confirmed or the day of arrival on the reservation.
