DOG-FRIENDLY + PET FEE:
Well-behaved dogs welcomed (2-max). A $100 pet fee is applied and is put toward the extra time it takes our cleaner to get all hairs and messes (even the cleanest, well-behaved dogs) along with the longer-term care we need to keep our house immaculate!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- Well Water: We are a mountain house on Well Water. We have plenty of clean, drinkable water to go around (and filters as well).
- Septic: The cabin runs on a septic system. We have signs around the property to remind guests of best-care practices to ensure you have a pleasant stay.
- Elevation: We aren't just in the mountains – we are ON the mountain! At just over 11,000 feet of elevation, we love the fresh alpine air, tall trees, and beautiful views. We always recommend hydrating well before and during your stay!
- Starlink Highspeed Internet: We have a designated workspace in one of the bedrooms and high speed Starlink internet. Network and Password will be shared after booking.
- Hot Tub is professionally maintained. It's Guidelines & Rules are shared on arrival.
- Timberline Retreat is located in a friendly, peaceful mountain neighborhood! Quiet hours for the outdoor spaces are between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am. Thank you for keeping noise down during this time, as it ensures the tranquility of the neighborhood and our standing as courteous neighbors.
- Unlicensed STR (In Progress).
MOUNTAIN ROADS & ACCESS
It's paved roads until you get to the neighborhood. For the last 10 minutes, you'll drive on gravel roads (with snow-pack during the winter). We highly recommend a AWD or 4WD vehicle and adequate snow tires or chains between Nov-April. We don't have any steep climbs or a steep driveway, but there are some steady grades. (Colorado Weather can be unpredictable, so check the weather and plan accordingly!)
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT:
- Check-in is after 4:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am.
- A few simple tasks for check-out. Then simply lock-up and travel safe. We hope to welcome you back soon!
HEATING & COOLING
During the winter months, we have cozy, forced-air heating through floor vents throughout the home. The living room
No A/C - But thankfully, you're in the Colorado Mountains! We have ceiling fans upstairs (in bedrooms and living room). You can also open windows and enjoy that fresh mountain air if it ever feels stufy.
