Positive: Price was right. Staff was great. Had problem at checkin but evening front desk staff was able to fix it. Room was clean and plenty of hot water in the shower.

Negative: Check in at 1pm but my room wasn’t ready. Came back an hour later and went into my room. The room had been cleaned but there were no pillowcases on the pillows. On my way out for errands i inquired to the day front desk person. He was nice but said, “we don’t have any, it’s been a problem all day.” I asked if there would be any and he didn’t know but the general manager overheard and said there would be some delivered that evening. Later that night still no pillowcases so went and saw the evening front desk person. She was surprised and said there was nothing scheduled. I asked what they were going to do to get the pillowcases for the pillows. She offered to change out room but that would be a downgrade from the deluxe king i had reserved and paid for to 2 Queen beds. We asked the obvious question — why don’t you take the pillows from the room you want us to move to and swap for ours that didn’t have the cases. Ding ding ding! So that’s what happened. One thing that sold us on the hotel were room photos on the site. I’ll just say this, creative zoom photography works and leave it at that. Bath towels were merely oversized hand towels. Would we stay here again? Probably not, as long as another hotel is available, and the price is within $50. There are a lot of options available within a few minutes drive.

Summary: The price is right but an overall disappointment.
