The cozy cabins are optimally located near the Whitefish Mountain Ski Village with an easy 30-second ski or snowboard to Chair 3 and a short, five-minute walk to the resort restaurants, bars, shopping. The free SNOW bus shuttle can also give you a lift into charming Whitefish, just a short ride down the mountain. Black Bear Cabins are a wonderful starting location for an amazing trip to many attractions in Northwest Montana including Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Flathead Lakes, abundant wildlife viewing, and the many Montana rivers that flow through the Flathead Valley. Not only is Whitefish an epic ski resort in the winter, but during spring, summer, and early autumn it is a water sports paradise ideal for fishing, boating, or rafting. Once spring/summertime rolls around just walk out the front door for amazing hiking, mountain biking, huckleberry picking, scenic lift rides to the summit, zip-lining, and many other fun things to do on the resort during the warmer months.
Much attention to detail went into designing and creating these Montana hand-carved log cabins. They are a perfect mix of rustic and contemporary, unlike anything else you'll find at Whitefish Mountain! Black Bear Cabin #4 has a queen bunk bed on the main level and a queen bed in the loft. This 900 sq/ft cabin can accommodate up to 6 guests and houses a fully-equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, washer/dryer, and outdoor grill. There's also a gas fireplace and air conditioning. The cabins are also outfitted with complimentary wifi, smart TVs, and loft AC units. Note: the loft access is a sturdy, attached ladder. Recommended for older children and physically capable adults only.
