Hahei Beachfront Bliss - a unique studio apartment only steps away from the crystal clear waters of Hahei Beach.

This is a wonderfully cosy 2 bedroom self contained suite right on the start of the Cathedral Cove track. Hahei Beachfront Bliss is a tranquil home nestled between the bush and the ocean right under a giant Pohutukawa tree and surrounded by lush monstera plants.

Wake up to the sound of the waves or relax on one of the comfortable indoor and outdoor lounges with your favorite book, cuppa or a glass of wine. You will be located at the quieter end of the beach, only a short 10 minute walk to the shops, cafe and bar. Please note that there is only 1 car park available at the property.

The studio is located below a main house, however you will be the only one staying to guarantee privacy.

Please note that there are approximately 50 steps to get to the apartment as pictured.

There is only 1 guaranteed parking spot at Hahei Beachfront Bliss (inside the garage). Please note that parking on our road is very limited during summer time. Parking on the driveway is not permitted as it blocks access to the neighboring property. We therefore highly recommend to only arrive in one car.

Linen & Towels are provided excl. Beach Towels which can be hired for $5.00/each.
Ecostore products are also provided at the house.
We stock up the pantry with cooking oil, salt & pepper.
Cleaning is also included in the rate, please leave the house tidy.
A portacot is available upon request and can be hired for $45.00/stay.

We might welcome you on arrival or we will give you the access code to the lockbox one day prior to your arrival.

Summary: This is a very nice place. So close to the beach. Nice deck furniture. Great umbrella for shade. Walking distance to shops and a great pub. The steps are a challenge. The best thing you can do is be prepared. If you want to lug a 36 inch suitcase down and up the stairs you will say a few bad words. If you are on a longer road trip, bring a smaller bag where you can take what you need down to the apartment. I am 70 and managed okay but would organize the stuff I need a little bit different.
