You'll love staying at our Chic Modern Retreat in the heart of Kaysville Utah. Our home sleeps 10 (4 bedrooms + one seriously comfy sofa sleeper) and has 3.5 beautiful bathrooms. Enjoy open concept living, a cozy gas fireplace and a hot tub just steps from the back deck. This home is the perfect home base for all your Utah adventures!
The space
Our home is located in a new, quiet, residential neighborhood just 2 minutes from an I-15 onramp making it super easy to hop on the freeway and get anywhere you want to go in the greater Salt Lake Valley and surrounding areas.
The main level of the house has a formal living room (this is where the sofa sleeper is located and there are privacy drapes for the window and French Doors), mud room with direct access to the garage and open concept living room, kitchen and dining. The kitchen has high end appliances, a huge pantry and everything you need to make a home cooked meal. There's a sliding glass door in the living room that opens to the back porch where there is seating for two, our Nexgrill vertical smoker (see "Other details to note"), and the hot tub!
The second floor of our home has the beautiful master bedroom with a comfy king size bed and ensuite bath plus 3 additional bedrooms (1 with it's own ensuite bath as well), another full hallway bathroom, the laundry room and a reading nook.
Last but not least, our unfinished basement houses an informal gym (mats, weight bench, and free weights) and three arcade games (Street Fighter II, NFL Blitz and Double Shot Basketball)! Plus we have an extra long table and chairs set up for socializing or playing games. Please note: there is no heat or cooling source in the unfinished basement.
Parking: There are a total of four parking spaces for our guests: two in the garage and two in the driveway. There is room in the garage for two standard sized cars. Guests will open and close the garage with the garage door buttons located just inside the garage by the mudroom stairs. Guests are NOT allowed to park on the street November thru March to allow the snow trucks to clear the roads.
Guest access
Guests will access/enter the house through the front door. A unique code for the August lock keypad will be sent prior to your arrival.
Other things to note
We have a Nexgrill Oakford 1400 Vertical Pellet Smoker available for guest use at the house. Guest are responsible to provide their own pellets and clean the smoker following use.
The hot tub is serviced every Monday. Our hot tub service team will let themselves in through the side gate. Please keep the hot tub lid closed and secured when not in use.
