Welcome to our cozy and quiet cabin in Cloudcroft nestled in the tall pines. We are just 2.1 miles from the village filled with shops and eateries.
The property experience
Wake up refreshed in a cozy Queen bed with a healing salt lamp and look out the window at the tall pines, catching one of the groups of elk as they make their daily trek past you. Hike in the National forest bordering the property if you like rugged, unmaintained adventures or enjoy any of the well maintained hiking, biking, motorcycle, and side by side trails that make Cloudcroft famous. Enjoy cooking breakfast in the full kitchen (Keurig with coffee, creamer and sugar is provided) or head out to one of our local breakfast joints. After a long day of adventure or puttering around the local artisan shops, enjoy a fire in the outdoor fire pit or snuggle up on the couch with some Netflix. Free wi-fi is provided.
Notes:
The private cabin is on a gated gravel road. 4WD vehicles are required during heavy snow. Trailer parking available just notify us in advance. Smoking in Hidden Mountain Cabin is prohibited.
Kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, spices, refrigerator, stove, microwave and Keurig.
2 dogs are allowed with pet fee.

This is a cabin in the woods and as such there is a wide variety of wild animals, moths and flies depending on the season.
We’d love to host you and we think you will love Cloudcroft as much as we do.
We live in the house above the cabin so if you need anything or if there is an emergency we are available. The cabin is small so the maximum allowed to stay is 2, unfortunately we have to mention this as more and more renters are bringing entire families to stay. Please respect our space and enjoy this little gem in the mountains.
Winter Advisory Message - WINTER WARNINGS - We are now in the snowy season. Please take into account before you book a reservation to be prepared for the drive up to the cabin. We can get several feet of snow without warning and if you do not have the proper vehicle you might not make it up to the cabin. Only high clearance 4x4 with aggressive tires can make it up once we get over 1 foot of snow. AWD vehicles struggle once we get any snow at all due to steep switchback dirt road.
