Beautiful Uintah Basin mountain cottage on the banks of Red Creek. A green cool oasis next to the ever flowing Red Creek during the summer. It is a great escape from the heat of the city. Enjoy the green trees and shrubs that surround the cozy cottage.
True peace and quiet, although not really quiet...the creek is always heard running in the background along with the birds, squirrels, chipmunks or other wildlife.
The property has a long driveway and with a turn around area. It is conveniently located 28 minutes from Starvation and 28 minutes from Strawberry. Both are ideal locations in the summer for boating. Starvation is also amazing for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding. Some know starvation as the North's mini Lake Powell.
Fishing and hunting are close, either on Red Creek, or the short drive (5 minutes) down river to the Strawberry Pinnacles and the Strawberry River's convergence with Red Creek. You can be at Timber Creek's dirt road, a short 20 minute drive from this cottage past the Promise Land Resort. From Timber Creek there is public access to Strawberry Ridge, Willow Creek Ridge, Long Ridge, Soldier Summit and many pristine wildlife and wilderness areas.
Nearly every morning and evening you can see the deer walking through the property. Wild turkey's stop by regularly, although they tend to be shy when you are outside moving about. A number of species of woodpeckers and owls are hoarding the surrounding trees too. If you are a bit still and more on the quiet side, you will be graced by these visitors stopping by.
